Rugby Fans Fly Cardiff Airport to Glasgow Direct

Rugby fans in Porthcawl and Bridgend will be tickled pink to hear the news it is now possible to fly direct from Cardiff Airport, to Glasgow Airport.

With a flight time of only 75 jet propelled minutes it is now theoretically possible to have breakfast at home in Porthcawl, fly to Glasgow, Taxi to Murrayfield (about 70 minutes by road) and arrive at Murrayfield in time for a couple of pints before kick off.

After the game simply carry out the journey in reverse and be home in time to kiss the kids goodnight before they go to bed?

With prices starting from £44.95? Comparing it to taking an overcrowded, uncomfortable train and paying over £300 for the pleasure is like comparing apples & oranges?

News of the new route will also be welcomed by Scottish rugby fans as their national team is scheduled to play Wales at the Principality Stadium in a crunch Super Saturday Six Nations tie on March 14.

Operator Loganair is already planning extra flights that weekend in anticipation of demand from Scotland fans heading to Cardiff for this iconic match.
